BRAND: NOVOLOOP X ON RUNNING SHOES
Novoloop & ON Running Shoes teamed up to create a recycled shoe, made from plastic waste. To illustrate the point, the creative team over at Blue Ox Films brought 9iFX in to create some dynamic 3D animations to illustrate the lifecycle of the shoes, from trash to trainers!
CONCEPT
Novoloop wanted to visually explain their new process for breaking down and recycling unwanted plastic waste into useful products. The science is complicated and they wanted to demonstrate it in an eye-catching way that would not only look cool, but show rather than tell how the process works.
PROCESS
We started with modeling out a plastic bag and giving it the lazy motion of floating on a breeze, before morphing into a blob and shifting into particles that eventually come together to form a shoe. There were many previs passes during production to ensure we had the right motion design.
CONCLUSION
The final result is an ultra sleek spot that smoothly explains the potential for their technology to have a dramatic impact on combating plastic waste that threatens the environment. It was made with the intention of being the flagship video on their website.
